2008 World Series of Poker
Event 29 - $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em
Day: 3
Phan had raised from early position and Bolotin made it an additional 100,000 to go from the big blind. Phan went into the tank and eventually found a fold, saying that he has pocket eights.
After some verbal sparring with Bolotin after the hand we overheard Bolotin comment "I had you."
"Man, I've folded pocket jacks and now pocket eights already at this table!" exclaimed Phan, as he slips to under 300,000 chips.

Segovia becomes our ninth-place finisher. He takes home $39,523 for his efforts.
After the hand, Segovia hung around the PokerNews booth for a couple of minutes. He said, "I pretty much had to go there. It was a good pot if I could have won it. What can I do?"
The flop came and Dunst led out with a continuation bet of 55,000. Singer deliberated for a long time before sliding out 135,000 chips to announce a raise. Dunst quickly folded as Singer gets off to a good start.
One item of interest is the fact that we played two hands and then the floor staff decided to do player introductions.
John Phan mentioned that another online news site had him listed as David Pham for a long time before making the correction.
We'll be starting with the final twenty minutes of level 19.
