Binger Bounced by Babies, Not Aces

Erick Lindgren
Erick Lindgren
Erick Lindgren limped from under the gun, Richard Ashby also limped, Josh Arieh raised to 6,600, and Michael Binger called. Lindgren called, and Ashby got out of the way.

The flop came {J-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Spades}. Lindgren checked, Arieh bet 16,000, and then Binger raised with his last 62,900. Lindgren said, "Let's put it all in," and reraised. Arieh folded.

Lindgren: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}
Binger: {3-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

Binger had two pair and the straight draw, while Lindgren had his aces and a flush draw.

The turn was the {7-Clubs}, giving Binger his straight. But the river was the {K-Spades}, and Binger's day ended just a few minutes before the end of Day 1.

After the hand, David Chiu picked up Lindgren's {7-Spades}{2-Spades} and chuckled. "I didn't think I was going to be using those two," said Lindgren.

E-Dog is now up to 264,000.
