Allen Cunningham Eliminated in Fourth Place ($76,205)

Allen Cunningham Eliminated
Allen Cunningham Eliminated
Omaha -

The action happened fast, but here's what we know. Allen Cunningham got all his chips, about 90,000 worth, in the middle against Kyle Kloeckner. Cunningham held {J-?} {9-?} {7-?} {2-?}, and was in big trouble against {A-Clubs} {A-Spades} {10-Clubs} {3-Clubs}.

The board punched Cunningham right in the stomach. It came {A-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {7-Spades} {5-Spades} {3-Spades}, giving Kloeckner a set of aces and sending Cunningham home a little early.

The quiet pro was riding a roller-coaster of action this evening. He went from big stack to short stack to being on the brink of extinction to being healthy once again, all within a span of less than an hour. When all is said and done, he will be disappointed to be out in fourth, but will pocket $76,205 for his hard work.

"Nice Bluff"

Omaha -

Allen Cunningham limped from the small blind and Max Pescatori checked his option.

The flop came {A-Spades} {J-Hearts} {4-Clubs} and Allen bet out 30,000. Pescatori made the call. The turn was the {3-Hearts} and Cunningham fired a big, pink stack of 100,000.

Pescatori asked, "How much do you have left, Allen?"

Cunningham replied that he had 210,000 and then Max said, "I raise the pot," which was 400,000 total according to the dealer.

Cunningham stood up and said, "Nice bluff," before thinking for a minute or two. He stood up while thinking and just stared at the board. Finally, Allen made the fold. He only has 210,000 remaining and has been standing for the past few minutes while he's been really active and on the short stack.

Kyle Hegeman Eliminated in Fifth Place ($62,015)

Omaha -

From the button, Max Pescatori limps in, and Kyle Hegeman raises from the small blind, making it 80,000 to go. Next to him, the other Kyle (Kloeckner) calls, and Pescatori follows suit.

The three men see the flop come down {4-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {J-Hearts}. Hegeman moves all in for approximately 125,000, and Kloeckner makes the quick call. Pescatori gets out of the way, and the two men show down their hands:

Hegeman: {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {9-Clubs}
Kloeckner: {3-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds}

The turn brings a straight for Kloeckner when the {7-Spades} falls, leaving Hegeman drawing dead and headed for the door. For his three days' worth of work, Hegeman will be rewarded with $62,015.

Short No More

Omaha -

Kyle Kloeckner raises first in to 60,000. It folds over to Allen Cunningham, and he reraises another 150,000, leaving just 30,000 behind it. Kloeckner shakes his head, shrugs, and puts in the call.

The flop is {4-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {8-Diamonds}, and Kloeckner fires a stack into the middle. Cunningham has no decision; his last few chips go in, and the cards are turned up.

Kloeckner: {10-Spades} {6-Spades} {5-Hearts} {3-Clubs}
Cunningham: {J-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {J-Spades}

The turn and river blank off as far as Kloeckner is concerned, and Allen Cunningham doubles though him, back to life now with 450,000.

Cunningham Doubles Back... Twice

Hold'em -

Allen Cunningham had only a couple big blinds left in his stack and was all in with {8-?} {6-?} against Max Pescatori's {6-?} {5-?}.

Both players flopped a six, but Cunningham's kicker held up and he was able to double up to about 120,000.

On the next hand, Cunningham found himself all in again with {K-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} dominating Kyle Kloeckner's {Q-Hearts} {9-Spades}. The flop, turn, and river ran out {5-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} and Cunningham doubled again.

He sits with 245,000 in chips now.

Chips Flying... Away from Cunningham

Hold'em -

The chips have really been flying. This time around, Allen Cunningham reraised Kyle Kloeckner to 190,000 after Kyle made it 60,000 to go from the button. Cunningham was in the big blind. Kloeckner then shipped it in and Cunningham called.

Kloeckner: {10-Spades} {10-Hearts}
Cunningham: {A-Spades} {9-Clubs}

The board was clean as far as Kloeckner was concerned... {7-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {K-Spades}. Cunningham was left with only 60,000 and is going to have to work extra hard now for that next bracelet.

Kloeckner is now just about even with Max Pescatori at 750,000.
