Indeed it seems that those chips were just on loan -- Men Nguyen has doubled through a player (it's unsure whether it was the same one who outdrew him earlier, though) in the following manner.

Holding {J-Spades} {J-Hearts}, Nguyen sneakily checked his set on the {6-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {J-Spades} flop and his opponent checked behind. Nguyen checked the {10-Diamonds} turn too, and then raised his opponent's bet -- the opponent went all in, and Nguyen called.

The unlucky opponent was holding {10-Spades} {10-Hearts} and had made his set on the turn. No miraculous fourth ten for him on the river, and he busted out while Nguyen moved up to 15,400.
