Mortensen Crippled

From late position, Carlos Mortensen raised preflop to 1,800. The big blind reraised to 3,600; Mortensen made the call.

Before the dealer could get the flop down on the felt, the big blind declared that he was all in and pushed out his remaining 3,200. Mortensen only had 3,600 left in his own stack and called after seeing {J-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}. He showed {J-Spades}{6-Spades} for top pair; his opponent had aces. The {Q-Spades} on the turn gave Mortensen a better draw but the river bricked {3-Diamonds}.

Mortensen is currently on death watch with just 400 remaining.
