Greenstein Doubles via Deeb

Freddy Deeb
Freddy Deeb
After Freddy Deeb reraised an early position player from 3,000 to 11,000, Barry Greenstein moved all in from the big blind for a total of 16,600. The early position player folded.

"How much more is it?" Deeb asked.

"5,600," replied the dealer.

Deeb silently slid 5,600 chips out in front of him, then flashed his hand with an "oops" grin on his face: 8-8-Q-2-3. He threw away the queen and an eight and drew two. Greenstein stood pat and opened a 9-7.

Deeb squeezed out a 5, but his other card was a jack for a jack-eight. He threw his hand into the muck.

"I didn't like that," he said.

"I didn't like it either," replied Greenstein. He is now up to 36,000 in chips.
