Our last hand before the dinner break was a doozy. Jeff Lisandro raised to 85,000 from the button. Mike Matusow reraised to 285,000 from the small blind, folding Barry Greenstein. Lisandro made the call.
Matusow stood pat. Lisandro drew one card.
After the draw, Matusow confidently bet 200,000. Lisandro went into the tank for over a minute. He was trying to get a read on Matusow. "Gimme a sign you're still alive!" shouted Lisandro.
Finally, he made the call. Matusow immediately, and disgustedly, tossed his cards into the muck. Lisandro stood up and showed the gallery an ace.
Matusow will have all of dinner to work off the steam.

Mike Matusow had the button and he raised to 105,000. Greenstein passed from the small blind but Jeffrey Lisandro called from the big blind. Both players drew one card.
After the draw, Lisandro was first to act and he checked. Matusow put out a bet of 80,000 and Lisandro raised to 330,000 total. Matusow folded quickly and Lisandro won the pot.
After the hand Lisandro declared "Now we're playing poker!"

Jeff Lisandro got some of his chips back from Barry Greenstein. Lisandro opened the pot for 85,000 and Greenstein made the call. Both players drew one card. After the draw, Greenstein checked to Lisandro, who bet 140,000. Greenstein made a quick call but couldn't beat Lisandro's 9-8.

Midway through today's 2-7 action, Harrah's officials opted to switch venues from a regular table in the Green section of the Amazon Room to the TV table in the Milwaukee's Best Light No-Limit Lounge based on player complaints and high spectator interest.
While the move was great for fans here in the Amazon Room, it was a bad beat for our reporters who are now actually further from the action than before, thus making it difficult for them to see the action on the table or hear the announcer call the action.
Despite the poor reporting conditions, we will continue to do our best to bring you the action as it happens and ask for your indulgence in advance for any action and/or hands that we miss.

Barry Greenstein is having his way with Jeff Lisandro. He raised before the draw, with Lisandro calling. Lisandro stood pat; Greenstein took one card. After the draw was complete, Lisandro checked over to Greenstein, who bet 145,000. Lisandro made a quick all, but couldn't bet Greenstein's 9-8. He mucked his hand.
Several hands later, Lisandro raised to 85,000 from the button. Greenstein, who had Lisandro covered, reraised all in from the big blind. Lisandro quickly folded.

Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow was first to act and he put in a raise to 90,000. Barry Greenstein folded his small blind but Jeffrey Lisandro called from the big blind. Both men drew just one card and Lisandro was first to act.
Lisandro bet 140,000 and Matusow made the call. Lisandro was shy to table his hand which turned Mike Matusow into Mike "The Mouth" Matusow. "Whatchya got Jeff?....Jeff....Jeff?" he said as he waited for Lisandro's called hand to be tabled first.
Despite being clearly beaten, Lisandro flipped up his hand anyway and showed a straight. Matusow ribbed him. "A straight!" he laughed, "You've got a straight!" as he turned over his own .
Matusow looked around at the crowd searching for some sort of recognition for his efforts. Lisandro mucked his hand and Matusow stacked the pot. As he did so, he bursted into song. "It’s never fun...when the rabbit’s got the gun," sang Mike. The crowd here seemed mildly entertained.

Erick Lindgren Eliminated
Jeffrey Lisandro raised to 85,000 from the button. Mike Matusow called from the small blind and Erick Lindgren moved all in from the big blind. Lisandro folded immediately and Matusow took his time before finally calling.
Matusow drew two cards and Lindgren took one. The players showed:

After the draw, Matusow was the first to turn his cards up. His first card was a and the second was a . Matusow had made a very strong hand and Lindgren needed serious help if he was to win the pot. Erick flipped up his fifth card to reveal a which paired him up. Matusow pumped his fist in triumph and Lindgren grimaced as he stood up, eliminated in fourth place. Lindgren adds this finish to his already stellar WSOP showing and will take home $156,151 for three day's work.

Erick Lindgren has been busy opening pots. He opened again, this time for 90,000. Mike Matusow made the call from the big blind.
On the draw, Matusow took one and Lindgren stood pat. Afterwards, Matusow bet 100,000. Lindgren made the call, only to see bad news. Matusow's hand was best. Again, we could not see the hands and they were not announced.

Action folded to Jeffrey Lisandro in the small blind and he raised to 90,000. Mike Matusow called from the big blind and they went heads up to the draw. Lisandro took two cards and Matusow just took one.
After the draw, Lisandro was first to act and he bet 150,000. Matusow gave his hand a quick double check before tossing it into the muck. Jeffrey Lisandro won the pot without a showdown.
