Chip Counts

Someone in the crowd just asked the announcer for chip counts. The players' stacks are all a bit disorganized, and so he's having a bit of difficulty estimating them.

We've been doing some quick math as we go and estimating the chip counts here, so check that page for the latest. It appears at the moment both Sirous Jamshidi and Leo Wolpert are close to the lead with approximately 1,250,000 each. Tim West is currently the short stack.

We're about to take a break, so we'll count them up again before we start the next level.

Hand #37: Greg Mueller

Tim West has the button. Phil Tom raised to 60,000. Wolpert called. Greg Mueller called. The flop was {8-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. Mueller and Tom checked. Wolpert bet 135,000. Greg Mueller check-raised to 300,000. Tom folded. Wolpert folded. Mueller took it down.

Hand #34: Leo Wolpert

Thomas Roupe has the button. It folded around to Phil Tom who completed from the small blind, and Leo Wolpert checked his option.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Tom bet 50,000, and Wolpert bumped it up to 135,000 total. Tom looked back at his cards, then mucked.

Hand #32: Greg Mueller

Sirous Jamshidi has the button. Tim West raised to 55,000, and Greg Mueller called from the small blind.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, and both players checked. The turn was the {8-Diamonds}. Mueller rechecked his cards, then checked. West checked behind.

The river was the {10-Hearts}. Mueller checked, and West checked as well. Mueller showed {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}, West mucked, and Mueller took the pot.
