Phil Laak Cripples Theo Tran

on the river, Theo Tran bet 5,000 and Phil Laak moved all in for 19,000. Tran agonized for several minutes over his decision, asking the dealer if he could turn up his cards without folding. As that is against the TDA rules (and he would incur a time penalty for doing so) the dealer would not budge and Tran finally folded, leaving himself with only 4,000 in chips. After the hand, Laak was up to 38,000.
