Less Than Ideal Conditions

We mentioned the wind a bit ago. It is BLASTING the tent and the players don't like it. It's noisy, the rafters are shaking, the walls are rattling, and the lights are dancing to and fro. Every minute or so there are cries of "Floor!" from players unhappy with the chaotic conditions.

It doesn't help that it's hot inside the tent as well. It was fairly comfortable before the players moved in to take their seats but between the doors remaining open for a long time as the players entered and all those bodies pressed together, the thermometer rose sharply.

Big Crowd

We don't know exactly how many runners we have, but we can say with full confidence--it's a big field. The Poker Pavilion was filled to overflowing and two tables were seated in the Amazon Room.

An Ill Wind Blows

The wind has been HOWLING through Vegas all afternoon and it's really whipping the Poker Pavilion tent. The roof is shaking pretty good and the light fixtures hung over the tables are swaying as if we're having a minor earthquake.
