Tournament Director Jack Effel takes a moment to recognize the hard work of the WSOP staff, including all of the assistant tournament directors and everyone else who has helped keep the WSOP running through all 55 events, with a record number of entrants this year (not in this one event, obviously, but throughout the past seven weeks).

There have been a few problems along the way that have been well reported (crazy cards, similar chip colors, bad conditions in the poker tent), but for the most part this World Series has been run very smoothly.
