Andrew Grimason Eliminated

We mentioned before how the best hands DO win in poker, but the best hand preflop does not always win.

Such was the case for Team PokerNews player Andrew Grimason, all in preflop with {A-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}. He was called by Adam Weiss holding {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Adam flopped a queen on the {Q-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop.

But it was running {8-Clubs} {J-Hearts}, making Adam a straight, that sent Andrew to the rail.
