A Killer Flop

Adam White raised to 90,000 from middle position and Ken Smith called from the button. The flop was {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. White checked, Smith bet 300,000, White immediately went all in and Smith immediately called. White turned over {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for two pair, but Smith had {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} for top set. The turn was the {4-Spades}, the river was the {4-Hearts}, and Smith increased his stack to 2.8 million while White's fell to 475,000.

Jerry Yang Wins a Nice Pot Without a Showdown

David Tran
David Tran

{Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

Tran checked and Yang pushed out 500,000. Tran pondered the call for upwards of five minutes before finally tossing it in. After the hand, Tran is down to 1,810,000 while Yang climbs to 4,600,000 chips.

Hansen Not Afraid To Get His Chips In

Gus Hansen
Gus Hansen
Gus Hansen, who is currently one of the shorter stack remaining in the field, has gone all in four of the last six hands he's been dealt. He hasn't yet been called, but if he continues at that pace, it may just be a matter of time until someone looks him up.
