Here are some random facts about Bill Edler:

Gavin Smith nicknamed Bill Edler "The Stunning One."

Edler might be one of the best players that you never heard about. He's also considered one of the nicest guys on the tournament circuit.

Edler earned a degree in law after attending UC-Berkeley.

Edler won his first WSOP bracelet in 2007. He won the $5,000 NL Short-handed event. He beat Alex Bolotin heads up after coming from behind as one of the short stacks at the starting table.

Edler drinks a lot of coffee while he plays. That might be one of his biggest vices.

Edler's grandmother taught him how to play card games. After he won a $10,000 heads-up event at Crystal Park Casino Hotel in February, he dedicated his victory to his grandmother who just turned 100 years young. Edler beat Barry Greenstein heads up for that win.

Edler has won more that $2.2 million in career tournament earnings.

Rep Porter Snatches Away A Big Pot

Under the gun, Dag Martin Mikkelsen raised to 60,000 and Hevad Khan and Rep Porter called. Michael Zinna then raised to 215,000 and after Mikkelsen folded Khan and Porter made the call. They saw a {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop and after Khan and Porter checked, Zinna led out for 325K. Khan folded and that's when Porter check-raised all-in for 1.7 million. Zinna folded and Porter raked in a huge pot.

Dario Minieri Eliminated by Reagan Silber

On a flop of {10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} Dario Minieri bet 100,000 and Reagan Silber called. The turn was the {7-Clubs}. Minieri moved all in for 1.1 million and Silber called, turning over {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for a set. Minieri showed {Q-Spades}{8-Spades} for a flush draw and would need a spade that didn't pair the board to survive. The river, though, was the {9-Diamonds} and everyone's favorite Porsche-driving online poker superstar was eliminated.
