Matt Sterling Eliminated

Matt Sterling led out for 20,000 and was raised to 75,000 by Robin Bergren. Sterling pushed all-in for 200,000 and Bergren made the call. Sterling showed pocket nines and Bergren showed {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}, and the race was on.

Board: {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The ace on the turn sealed the deal and Sterling was eliminated.

Rami Boukai Eliminated by Adam Weiss

Rami Boukai moves all in from the cutoff for about 120,000, and Adam Weiss calls from the small blind. Weiss shows {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}, and Boukai is angry and disgusted as he shows {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Boukai needs to improve to survive.

The flop comes {J-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}, and Boukai's mood changes as he takes the lead with a pair of threes. The turn card is the {8-Hearts}, and the river card is -- the {K-Diamonds}. Weiss wins the pot with a rivered pair of kings.

Rami Boukai is eliminated from the Main Event, and he is *not* happy about it. The floorpeople that bring him his payout slip and take him to the payout room get to hear all about it -- whether they want to or not.

Moritz Hopfner Eliminated

Moritz Hopfner limped in and John Bird raised 22,000. Moritz Hopfner called. The flop was {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Moritz Hopfner checked. Bird bet 35,000. Moritz Hopfner called. The turn was the {A-Diamonds}. Moritz Hopfner checked. Bird bet 45,000. Moritz Hopfner moved all in and Bird called.

Hopfner: {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Bird: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}

Although Hopfner flopped a set, Bird turned a higher set. The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Moritz Hopfner headed to the rail. Bird increased his stack to 715,000.
