Warren Karp Eliminated

Just before the break Warren raised from early position for most of his chips and was reraised all in. When the cards were tabled Warren's A-7 off was in bad shape against his opponent's {10-Spades}{A-Spades}. Warren received no help from the board and exited the tournament.

Birchby Can't Dodge Bullets

Chris Birchby raises to 1,300 and the opponent in the small blind re-raises 2,500 more. Birchby quickly moves two stacks of 500 chips into the pot putting his opponent all-in. The opponent calls and shows {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} while Birchby has {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}. The board comes {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Birchby drops to 28,000.

Christopher Stephan Says Goodbye

Christopher Stephan moved all in for his last 3,425 on a flop of {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Hearts}. A clock was called on his opponent before he finally made the call. Stephan showed {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs} which was well ahead of his opponent's {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. The turn was disaster for Stephan however as it came a {4-Clubs}. The {A-Hearts} on the river was no help for Stephan and just like that, one of the early chipleaders has made his exit.

Shannon Shorr Stays Active

Four players saw a flop of {Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. Shorr called an all-in and showed {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a flush draw and gut-shot straight draw. His opponent had {Q-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}. The turn and river were both clubs and Shorr took down another good sized pot. He is currently at 33,000 in chips.
