Bob Bright Eliminated in 30th Place ($16,766)

Bob Bright's run in this tournament has just come to an end. Bright was short-stacked most of the day and finally got it all in with {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} against the {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs} of Greg Pohler. Pohler caught the {9-Diamonds} on the flop and took the lead. There would be no miracle for Bright and he was eliminated in 30th place, earning $16,766 in the process.

Phil Hellmuth - 31st Place
Phil Hellmuth - 31st Place
Phil Hellmuth moved all in with {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Nick Van Newkirk called with {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. The flop was {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Hellmuth was still in the lead. The turn was the {A-Hearts} and Nick Van Newkirk took the lead. The river was the {K-Clubs} and Hellmuth busted out in 31st place. He got a round of applause from the spectators on the rail, all of whom stood five or six deep to sweat his table.

Phil Hellmuth will have to wait for another day to win his 12th WSOP bracelet.

Tilt-a-Phil

Phil Hellmuth is steaming again after losing another pot to Raj Sawant. On a flop of {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, Raj Sawant bet 33K and Hellmuth called. The turn was the {9-Clubs} and both players checked. The river was the {10-Clubs}. Raj Sawant bet 45K and Hellmuth called.

Raj Sawant: {A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Hellmuth: {9-Spades} (x)

Hellmuth only showd the {9-Spades} for trip nines and mucked his other card. He was steaming because Raj Sawant caught running clubs to catch a flush on the river and beat his trips. Hellmuth slipped to 67K after that hand.
