Erik Friberg from Stockholm, Sweden made the final table of the 2006 WSOP and took 8th place while winning $1.98M. He's primarily an online player and is considered one of the best Swedish players in the world. He admitted that he never held a real job outside of poker. Friberg enters the final table as the chipleader with close to 2.8M.
Boyd is playing in his 6th WSOP. He has nine prior cashes, three final tables, and one bracelet under his belt. Boyd won the $2,5000 NL6-handed event last year. Boyd ended Day 1 as the chipleader.
Also known as "The Stunning One", Bill Edler has four cashes at the WSOP and made a final table last year. He has won $1.33M in tournaments since 2005. Edler is considered one of the nicest guys in poker. He is seeking his first bracelet.
Gioi Luong has ten career cashes at the WSOP. This is his second final table at the 2007 WSOP. He also took down the WSOP Circuit event in Tunica in January. He has $2 million in career earnings since 2003.
Originally from Minsk, Belarus, Alex Bolotin has four previous cashes at the WSOP. This is his second final table in 2007. He took 8th place in the $2,500 NL event.
Residing in Manhattan Beach, CA, Greg Pohler learned how to play poker online four years ago. This is his first year at the WSOP.
