Greg Mueller Owns Day 1 at the WSOP

Greg "FBT" Mueller just took down a huge pot against Annie Duke, hitting a set of 9's on the flop against her pocket Jacks. The hand took Mueller past the 35K mark, making him the chip leader for the moment.

We noticed that Greg's name has been at the top of the leaderboard quite a number of times throughout this year's WSOP going into Day 2, so we asked Greg for a number. He told us this would be his 4th tournament as the Day 1 chip leader going into Day 2 -- impressive, considering the big fields we've seen this year.

Greg is fast approaching 40,000 chips and there's a very good possibility he'll be on top at 3:00 a.m., when we close up shop for the evening.
