An EP player raised to 1,200, Jon Friedberg called from the button, and the small blind moved all in for 7,175. The EP player folded and Friedberg asked the dealer how much more it was for him to call. He was told it was 4,975 and made the call, only to discover that he actually owed the pot 5,975-- an additional 1,000. The floor was called over and ruled that even though the dealer had called out the wrong amount, Friedberg would not be permitted to pull back his bet.
