Hand #85 - Phil Hellmuth Doubles Through Dustin Holmes

Hand #85 - Phil Hellmuth has the button in seat 1, he raises to 120,000 and then stands up and stares at Fineman as Fineman considers what to do from the small blind. Fineman folds, and now it's Holmes' turn to sweat under the glare of Hellmuth.

After about 30 seconds, Holmes moves all in, and Hellmuth immediately calls with {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Holmes shows {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}. Hellmuth has the preflop lead, and he'll need it to hold up to stay alive.

Hellmuth takes his standard walk over to Ivey (insurance?) before sitting in the stands with his wife to watch the board on the big screen.

The flop comes {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, and the crowd groans as Holmes picks up a club flush draw.

The turn card is the {8-Diamonds}, and Hellmuth retains the lead with king high. Holmes needs a queen, a jack, or any club to bust Hellmuth here.

The river card is the -- {A-Spades}, and the crowd cheers as Phil Hellmuth doubles up in chips.

Hellmuth walks over to Ivey and says, "I owe you thirty more thousand ..."

Phil Ivey has already made two final tables at this WSOP, but he might make more money at this one. The announcer says, "Phil needs to finish in at least fourth place to break even with his side bets."
