Phil Galfond Doubles Up on Doubling Up

There's no better way to get healthy in a hurry than doubling up twice. After a {3-Clubs}

flop both players checked, but after the {2-Clubs}

fell on the turn Galfond check-raised all-in for 1,200 more after inducing a 3,000 bet. His opponent called and showed pocket Aces--Galfond turned over {6-Hearts}

for the nut straight and doubled up.

The very next hand he and J.C. Tran got all the money in before the flop, and Galfond had A-K to Tran's A-Q. Galfond flopped a king to put an end to the drama and now has about a 12K stack.
