We really are continuing to lose players at an alarming rate. The clock says there are 86 players remaining from 169 which started Day 2. The average is 154,883 at 2,000/4,000/500 meaning that the average stack is 38 big blinds. There is a lot of play in this, especially as the levels are now one hour long

It's been a peculiar few hands for Table 8. First, a Spanish player moved all-in, and was swiftly re-raised all in by Julien Robert. Jonathan Khalifa, looked down and let out a "Wow!" and started to count chips. Eventually he folded, and the cards were turned on their backs: vs . Khalifa wasn't too happy, as he had folded . The board ran out and the Spanish player doubled up.
A short while later the same thing happened, Guillaume Darcourt opened UTG and the same Spaniard moved all in for 47,000. Julien Robert, again, looked down at his cards and re-raised all him. And Jonathan Khalifa let out another huge "Wow!"
Again Khalifa folded and the cards were turned over: vs . What hand did Khalifa fold? How do I know his exact suits? Well the board ran out so I'm pretty sure they were the other two tens.

Three players including Rakesh Lalwani checked a flop of and saw a turn of where his opponent bet out 7,000. Lalwani called and when checked to him on the river, he overbet the pot with 35,000 chips making their way into the middle. His opponent let out a wry smile and folded, and Lalwani showed

We've all been there. Celebrating the river card which we think gives us the win but in fact...doesn't.
Spare a thought for Choukri Chergui who slammed the table and fist bumped when the board completed holding against Imad Derwiche's . It wasn't until a tablemate pointed it out to him that he didn't in fact river the winner that he let out an unfortunately unpublishable French word and started counting out the double for Derwiche
