Harveys Lake Tahoe WSOPC Final Table
Headlining the final table is 2000 WSOP Champion Chris "Jesus" Ferguson who has a commanding lead over the field with 426,500 in chips -- almost 200,000 more than his closest competitor (Mark Bonsack - 252,000). Ferguson was the first player ever to win two WSOP Circuit events (2005 Harrah's Rincon and 2005 Harrah's Las Vegas), and with a win today he would become the first to earn three gold circuit rings.
Lake Tahoe will be represented today by Dustin Fox who was born and raised in the host city. Locally known for his extremely aggressive playing style, Dustin enters the final table with 95,000 in chips.
Also worth mentioning is the fact that eight of the nine final table participants call the United States home. The lone international player is Sylvester Geoghegan of Mullingar, Ireland; his friends call him "Vesty." Geoghegan owns and operates a casino in Ireland and comes to the final table with 131,000 in chips.
