The players have returned from break and the cards are in the air. With the blinds now at 6,000/12,000, look for 'Vesty' to make a move early in level 15.
After the hard count, we can officially report that Dustin Fox has taken the chip lead from Chris Ferguson. Here's how our four remaining finalists stand after the second break:
Chris Ferguson: 428,000
Dustin Fox: 507,000
Sylvester Geoghegan: 79,000
Mark Bonsack: 370,000
Dustin Fox just took another sizeable pot from Chris Ferguson and it appears as though he took the chip lead along with it. There are currently nine minutes remaining in the level and we'll know one way or another as soon as we count down the stacks during the break.
Dustin Fox just took a bite out of 'Vesty' Geoghegan's stack after moving all in over the top of Vesty's 20,000 (approx.) pre-flop raise.
Vesty spent a solid minute contemplating a call, but eventually tossed his pocket threes face-up into the muck.
Vesty has been floating right around 100,000 in chips for the better part of an hour, while Fox continues to narrow the gap between himself and chip leader Chris Ferguson.
Dustin Fox just doubled through Chris Ferguson in dramatic fashion, after his pocket tens held up against Ferguson's in a pre-flop all in confrontation.
Ferguson opened the pot with a raise from the small blind and Fox answered with a 60,000 raise from the big. Chris went through his standard routine, patient and deliberate as always, before detaching a very tall pile of 5,000 chips from his stack and sliding them into the middle.
Now it was Dustin's turn to visit the tank after Chris had put him to a decision for all of his chips. Dustin hunched over his chips with his thumbs and index fingers in position to make the move and paused for a moment before pushing them across the betting line.
Fox needed to dodge an ace in order to double up, and dodge he did, as the board filled out . The crowd let out a roar as loud as any they've given today as the hometown kid raked in the monster pot.
By our estimations, Fox pulled within a few thousand chips of Ferguson for the chip lead following the hand. We'll bring you up-to-date counts during the next break.
Roughly ten minutes after the players returned from their first break, Gabriel Testa made a move on Dustin Fox's big blind, open shoving for a total of 70,000 in chips. Fox made the call, tabling a pocket pair of sixes and was up against Testa's .
The board filled out and Fox's sixes would hold up to take down the pot, subsequently eliminating Testa from the tournament in 5th place, good for a $43,055 payday.
With the win, Fox increased his chip stack to just under 300,000.
Both Gabriel Testa and Sylvester 'Vesty' Geoghegan have remained relatively low key throughout the day, while Chris Ferguson, Dustin Fox and Mark Bonsack have been the most active.
With 668,000 in chips, Ferguson currently has a 2-1 chip advantage over his closest opponent (Bonsack - 320,000).
Testa is currently the short stack, operating with just under 100,000 in chips.
