270 Players Advance to Day 2 of the WSOPC Marrakech Main Event

WSOPC Marrakech
WSOPC Marrakech

After three busy flights that led to a new record of 1,523 entries in the World Series of Poker Marrakech Main Event, it’s now time for the big rally here at the Casino de Marrakech inside the Es Saadi Resort.

Out of this massive field, only 270 players managed to bag chips for Day 2. While some players will focus on simply reaching the money, others have bigger ambitions, including “Borjatm5”, who finished Day 1b as the overall chip leader with 576,000 chips. He’s the only player to have crossed the half-million mark, but Migle Kriksciunaite (487,000) and Day 1a chip leader Guillaume Darcourt (480,000) are not far behind.

All 270 remaining players will return at 1 p.m. local time at Level 15, where blinds will be 2,000/4,000, with a 4,000-blind ante.
