Gafer Got the Goods
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Jatinder Singh opened under the gun to 1,000 before the action folded to Alan Gafer on the button who called and the big blind defended.
The 5♥2♥5♦ flop landed and Singh continued for 2,500. Gafer called and the big blind folded.
The K♠ hit the turn and the action checked to Gafer who took the betting lead with a wager of 2,500. Singh called.
The 8♣ hit the river and it checked to Gafer for the last time. He took a moment and then bet 7,000.
Singh seemed a bit frustrated and said "I guess you just flopped a five" but flicked in a call.
"Nope, a boat" Gafer said while tabling pocket deuces for the win. Singh flashed pocket queens before he mucked.
Gafer dragged a healthy pot and the old saying rings true...Deuces never loses.
