Another WSOPC ring winner will be crowned today at the 2024 World Series of Poker Circuit Playground. Event #7: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em attracted a field of 236 entrants to generate a prize pool of $207,680, more than double the $100,000 guarantee. That field was whittled down to just 36 players by the end of Day 1. Those 36 players are all guaranteed a min-cash of $1,500 but will have their eyes set on the top prize of $46,000.
Kyle Yun-Wing Ho bagged the overall chip lead going into Day 2, entering with 753,000, a stack worth 151 big blinds to start the day. Ho is most closely followed by Shawn Daigle (517,000) and Renmei Liu (488,000).

Duff Charette also managed to bag a top ten stack the same day as he made the final table of the $800 Mystery Bounty where he finished fourth for $6,800 CAD. Charette had three previous final table finishes in WSOP circuit events prior to that final table and with just under $1,500,000 in career tournament earnings Charette is sure to be a force to be reckoned with as he aims to capture his first circuit ring in this event.
Bracelet winner Chanracy Khun also remains in contention, albeit with the shortest stack in the room at 38,000.
The final day will begin at 11:00 a.m. local time with blinds at 3,000/5,000 and a 5,000 big blind ante. Levels will be 40 minutes long and there will be a 15-minute break after every three levels. As always, stay tuned to PokerNews for all your live coverage needs for this event from the moment cards are in the air until a winner is crowned.
