Sapra Folds Better Hand to Leave Himself Short

Action came in on the turn with the board reading 8♦A♣5♠10♣. James Pillon bet 2,500,000 from the button to put the pressure on Jishant Sapra who did not have much more than that behind.

After a lengthy tank, Sapra folded JxJx face up. Pillon showed the inferior J♥10♥ as Sapra was left short stacked.

The pot had about 7,900,000 in it on the turn as the board read K♣6♥9♦6♦. Jishant Sapra bet 2,550,000 from the big blind. Lucas Constable was in the small blind and took a few moments before calling.

The river came the 4♠. Sapra took a moment to check behind after Constable did so. Constable tabled K♠8♠ which took down the pot to strengthen his stack.
