The action continues today at the 2024 World Series of Poker Circuit Playground with the final day of Event #5: $800 Mystery Bounty. The fifth of 15 circuit events attracted a field of 262 entrants to generate a prize pool of $182,090, smashing the $100,000 guarantee. Only 39 players managed to find a bag at the end of yesterday's day 1 and advance to the final day. Those players have all locked up a min-cash of $500 and will have a shot at the $20,000 first place prize and $50,000 top bounty.

Rami Hammoud bagged the overall chip lead going into Day 2, finishing Day 1 with 514,000 chips, worth around 90 big blinds heading into Day 2. Hammoud is most closely followed by Jonathan Petit-Levesque (478,000) and Jonathan Brazeau (472,000).
