Day 1 Completed
Austria's Mario Mosboeck is truly living the dream with another big win, this time for his first WSOP Circuit ring after defeating a field of 3,063 entries to win the WSOP Super Circuit Series Event #3: $400 DOUBLE STACK MILLION at GGPoker.
The win was worth $129,700 thanks to a heads-up deal with Csaba "PumpedGabo" Szasz, who collected an even bigger prize of $130,557 thanks to holding the chip advantage when the deal was made.
Mosboeck has been a well-known poker player for many years. In recent times he joined forces with GGPoker Ambassador Fedor Holz and Matthias Eibinger as a representative of their poker training site Pokercode.
The final table was full of recognizable poker talent. In addition to a red-hot Mosboeck and Szasz, Simon "MotiKakoon" Goldthorpe (third - $83,635), Paul "Rahchan" Hong (fourth - $62,717), Geraldo "UmReiNoRiver" Cesar Neto (fifth - $47,031), WSOP bracelet winner Nicolo Molinelli (sixth - $35,269), and WSOP Circuit ring winner Claas Segebrecht (seventh - $26,448) were all among the final combatants.
The event itself was yet another success story for GGPoker with the field of 3,063 entries getting into action for a $1,151,688 prize pool to smash the tournament's generous $1 million guarantee.
