The Main Event has come to an end. Samiyel Duzgun jammed from the button with {j-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Ayman Jarrar called with {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

Duzgun was ahead and his lead became even firmer after the {q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades} came on the flop to give him a pair. Jarrar was drawing dead after the {a-Diamonds} came on the turn and the {10-Spades} on the river ended the tournament.

The WSOP Circuit Marrakech Main Event was Jarrar's first-ever international tournament and he made it count. Despite just missing out on the coveted gold ring, he did take home a huge runner-up prize of 1,060,000 MAD (€99,640/$110,470).

Duzgun not only collected the 1,600,000 MAD (€150,400/$166,747) top prize but also the coveted gold ring and a ticket to the 2020 WSOP Global Championship in North Carolina in August valued at $10,000.

Stay tuned for the final recap of the 2020 WSOP Circuit Marrakech Main Event.
