Tan Makes Correct Call to Swell Stack More

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Longsheng Tan
Longsheng Tan

Longsheng Tan was deep in the tank contemplating a river decision. The board read {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}.

The pot had about 170,000 in the middle already and Paul Murphy put about a bet of 60,000 on the river. Tan thought for a good while before making the call.

Murphy showed the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} which Tan had one pip better as he tabled the {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and took in the pot as he added more to his stack that has already swelled greatly early on Day 2 while Murphy's stack has been greatly reduced.
