Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Dave Grandin
Dave Grandin

Dave Grandin jammed for 31,000 from the hijack, and Kenneth Brunette three-bet shoved for 178,000 in the small blind. Ken Donarski called in the big blind to put both players at risk.

Dave Grandin: {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Kenneth Brunette: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Ken Donarski: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Brunette held on the {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{4-Spades} flop and {10-Clubs} turn, but it was Grandin who binked the {2-Diamonds} river to earn the main pot, while Brunette settled for a healthy side pot.

Craig Trost: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Marcus Yofon: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Trost was dominated, but the {q-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop bailed him out with top two pair. Yofon couldn't find a king on the {7-Spades} turn or {3-Hearts} river, and Trost doubled up.

Pekarek Makes Big Fold

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Jeremy Pekarek opened for 20,000 from middle position and Matthew Ploof along with George Pappas defended their blinds.

The {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} flop was checked to Pekarek who continued for 25,000 and was called by Ploof while Pappas folded.

Ploof lead out for 75,000 after the {6-Clubs} fell on the turn and Pekarek called to see the {4-Diamonds} complete the board on the river.

Ploof lead out once more, this time for 215,000 and Pekarek didn't like the bet. "Did you really turn the flush on me?" Pekarek stated, "I'm the last person you want to bluff right?"

"I'm going to make a big lay down and put you on tilt as you ask yourself how you didn't get paid off on this hand," Pekarek said as he mucked {j-Clubs}{10-Spades} face-up.
