Shin's Set Bests Golla's

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Pratap Golla raised to 35,000 from middle position, then called a three-bet shove from Mike Shin in the cutoff for 51,000.

Mike Shin: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Pratap Golla: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Both players found a set on the {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop, but Shin's superior set held for the double after the {2-Spades} turn and {a-Hearts} river.

Dimitrov Turns Trip's for Double

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Dimitre Dimitrov
Dimitre Dimitrov

Dimitre Dimitrov opened for 24,000 from the small blind and Cero Zuccarello defended his big blind to see a {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop.

Dimitrov instantly moved all in and was snap-called by Zuccarello.

Dimitre Dimitrov: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}
Cero Zuccarello: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Dimitrov was behind until the dealer dropped the {6-Hearts} on the turn giving him trips.

The {q-Hearts} completed the board on the river securing Dimitrov's double-up for 160,000.

The very next hand the 2018 HPT & MSPT POY Aaron Johnson was eliminated.

Zuccarello Puts Brinn to the Test

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Cody Brinn bet 120,000 into a pot of 200,000 on a {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} board from the small blind, and Cero Zuccarello raised to 250,000 from early position, enough to set Brinn in for his last 96,000.

"Ugh! I have a jack-high flush! What do you have, eights? Fours?" Brinn asked, looking at the board. Brinn tanked for a few minutes before a clock was called, and about halfway through the countdown, Brinn announced a fold.
