Lane Can't Bluff His Way to a Win

Level 5 : 200/300, 300 ante

Christopher Lane limped in from under the gun which invited Brian Page to come along from middle position. Heather Alcorn raised to 1,300 from the small blind and John Gallaher called in the big blind along with the two limpers.

The flop fell {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Alcorn continued for 2,500. Gallaher and Lane called while Page let his hand go. The turn brought the {9-Clubs} and the action checked to Lane who bet 3,500. Alcorn folded but Gallaher still called.

The {10-Spades} paired the board on the river and Gallaher check-called another bet of 6,000 from Lane. Lane turned over {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a missed straight draw while Gallaher held {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} for two pair.
