Ronald Rosenberg Eliminated in 12th Place ($24,353)

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Ronald Rosenberg
Ronald Rosenberg

Isaac Kempton opened to 160,000 from the button and Ronald Rosenberg moved his 530,000 stack into the middle from the small blind. Kempton called and the two tabled their hands with Rosenberg at risk.

Ronald Rosenberg: {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Isaac Kempton: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The dealer fanned out {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} on the flop and Rosenberg jumped way in front with his flopped pair of sixes.

A {10-Spades} turn took the wind out of Rosenberg's sails and the {8-Clubs} river cemented the pot for Kempton, sending Rosenberg to the payout desk.

Jackson Moves Up

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Brad Sailor made a three-bet to 700,000 preflop which David Jackson called and everyone else folded.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. Sailor continued with a bet of 450,000. Jackson got sticky and called. The turn was the {a-Diamonds}. Both players checked.

The {k-Clubs} came on the river. Action went check-check again and Jackson flipped over the [khjk] which was good enough to take the pot as Sailor mucked his hand.

Kempton Shows After Shove

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Action was on the turn with a board that read {q-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts} and a large pot of about 900,000 already in the middle. Ioannis Patsourakis made a bet of 525,000 over to Isaac Kempton.

Kempton paused for about ten seconds before announcing all in. It was a huge shove as both players were among the largest stacks of the remaining players. Patsourakis thought for about 15 seconds before mucking his cards.

Kempton showed the {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for nothing with outs to a flush as he collected the pot.

David Berman

David Berman moved all in for 390,000 from the button and Ronald Rosenberg was the only player to hook him up with a call.

David Berman: {j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Ronald Rosenberg: {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The flop rolled out {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Rosenberg was still in the lead. An {8-Hearts} peeled off on the turn, leaving Berman with one last chance for romance. The {7-Diamonds} sealed the deal for Rosenberg who took down the pot, eliminating Berman from the tournament.

Action folded around to Kevin Javier in the hijack, he moved his 500,000 into the middle and Ioannis Patsourakis called, putting Javier at risk.

Kevin Javier: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Ioannis Patsourakis: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The flop came down {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}, giving both a pair of aces but Patsourakis was in the lead with his ten kicker. A {7-Spades} peeled off on the turn, giving Javier som straight outs but the {2-Diamonds} river was not one and he was sent to the rail, shipping another pot to Patsourakis.

Ott Sends Santana Into the Tank

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn with the board reading {7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. Fares Santana bet 405,000 into a pot of about 450,000.

John Ott waited for a couple of moments before jamming all in to put Santana at risk. Santana went deep into the tank and thought for several moments, even standing up at one point.

But eventually he threw his cards with force into the middle and walked away from the table as the pot was sent over to Ott.

James Calderaro raised under the gun, Cameron Marshall moved all in from early position and Calderaro called when it came back to him.

Marshall was behind with his tournament life at stake as he held the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} against the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} of Calderaro.

The board stayed true to Calderaro as it ran out {3-Spades}{a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Marshall was taken out.

Michael Cohen Eliminated in 16th Place ($16,179)

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Michael Cohen
Michael Cohen

Paul Balzano opened to 150,000 from middle position and Robert Manjura called. Michael Cohen three-bet shoved a little bit over 1,700,000 from the button and Balzano instantly jammed over the top. Manjura hit the tank but in the end, he folded {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} face-up and the two that remained tabled their hands.

Michael Cohen: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Paul Balzano: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

The flop came down {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Cohen was in need of a dime to stay alive. The {4-Diamonds} landed on the turn and {5-Spades} on the river, failing to help Cohen as he was eliminated by the jacks of Balzano.
