John Skrovan opened under the gun for 200,000 and Mark Newton three-bet to 625,000 from the cutoff. Action on the table folded back around to Skrovan who called,

The flop fell {2-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Skrovan check-called Newton's 625,000 continuation bet to the {j-Clubs} turn which was checked by both players to the {4-Diamonds} river.

Skrovan checked his option once more to Newton who fired out another 625,000 bet and Skrovan called.

Newton tabled {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} for a pair of jacks but it was no good as Skrovan turned over {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} to scoop in the massive pot.
