Welcome to Day 1B of the WSOP International Circuit Marrakech Main Event
Day 1B of the 15,000 MAD (€1,350) WSOP International Circuit Marrakech Main Event, held in Casino de Marrakech in the amazing Es Saadi Resort - Palace, is set to start at 1 p.m. local time. Achille Voltolina bagged the chip lead after twelve 45-minute levels on Day 1A. Voltolina expanded his 30,000 starting stack to an impressive 224,700.
Voltolina is closely followed by the Frenchman Renaud Blangiardi. Blangiardi bagged 209,400 at the end of the day. Fabio Pinho Damaso sits in third with 180,000. Others that made it through include Michiel Brosky (179,200), Sonny Franco (173,500), Isabel Baltazar (147,000), Serdar Demircan (90,000), and French ex-football player Camel Meriem (39,500).
Barny Boatman was one of the players that weren't able to bag up at the end of Day 1A. He bought in for three times and the last time he busted to end-of-day chip leader Voltolina. Boatman has the option to register for Day 1B as the tournament has an unlimited reentry format. Players are able to register until the start of level 10.
