Vintage Kabrhel in Action

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel limped from under the gun and Miroslav Hurta raised to 7,000 from the very next seat. The rest of the table folded up to Donko Atanasov in the small blind, who called. The big blind folded, and Kabrhel put chips in to see a flop.

The first three cards were {q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Spades}, and Hurta bet 8,500 after two checks. Kabrhel was the only caller, and the {k-Diamonds} appeared on the turn.

Both players checked, and the {9-Hearts} completed the board on the river. Kabrhel announced all in after some deliberation, which was a sizable overbet, almost three times the size of the pot.

Hurta didn't think about it for long and folded. Kabrhel first prompted another player to check his own cards, then decided to open them himself, showing {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}.

"I play very good, man", Kabrhel said to the rail.
