Day 1 of the $2,200 Horseshoe Hammond High Roller accumulated a total of 121 entries thus far with registration open until Day 2 starts at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 21.

The day was action-packed from the get-go with only 40 players finding a bag at the end of the night. The top three stacks when the clocked stopped were Ryan Jones bagging 206,500 followed by Michael Moncek with a total of 195,000 and Greg Himmelbrand with 179,000.

Ryan Jones slowly built his chip stack throughout the day, having a few setbacks but getting a decent sized pot early when his flush-draw went back door straight and he got paid on the river.

Another big stack includes Alex Ziskin bagging 178,500, who battled his way throughout the day, getting almost back to back double-ups against Brian Altman.

Some other notables to survive to Day 1 were Aram Zobian with 156,000, Farid Jattin with 126,000, Todd Ivens with 102,500, Nick Pupillo with 88,000 and Irene Carey who bagged 48,000

The majority of players did not find a bag at the end of the night though, being eliminated throughout. Those of who include Lily Kiletto, Alan Cutler, Brian Senie, Steve Karp and Ryan Phan.

The registration will remain open until the start of Day 2 Monday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m, with the blind levels at 1,000/2,000/2,000 and a 30,000 starting stack.
