The PokerNews Live Reporting Team is at Florida’s Seminole Coconut Creek to live report action from both the $2,200 High Roller and $1,700 Main Event, but is just one of a dozen gold ring events at the stop. As such, we thought we’d profile some of the preliminary tournaments and those who struck it big.

In Event #3: $400 No-Limit Hold’em, a 65-entry field created a $21,450 prize pool that was distributed to the top 10 players.

The title came down to 62-year-old Scott Roberts and David Moreno with the former ultimately coming out on top to win the title, $6,994 top prize, and his second gold ring.

He won his first ring during the 2017/18 WSOP Circuit series after topping a field of 227 competitors in the $250 Seniors Event at Harrah’s New Orleans.

“It feels unbelievable. I hit some hands, made some good moves, and got the chip lead,” Roberts said after the win.
