Welcome to Day 1b of the WSOPC Planet Hollywood $1,700 Main Event
The second of two initial starting flights of the 2019 World Series of Poker Circuit Planet Hollywood $1,700 Main Event is set to begin at noon local time. Yesterday's flight attracted 338 entries players but only 65 of them found a bag. Today, a bigger field is expected to turn out for their final shot at advancing to Day 2.
Tim McDermott bagged the chip lead of Day 1a with a stack of 392,000. He is followed by Sohale Khalili (382,000) and David Towson (357,000). Today, another group of players will try to challenge this mark.
Just like the first flight, players will get a starting stack of 30,000 and levels will be of 40 minutes in length throughout the first fifteen levels. There will be a 15-minute break every three levels and a 60-minute dinner break at the completion of Level 9. Players will be allowed one re-entry should they find themselves eliminated, with late registration remaining open until the beginning of Level 13. Day 1 will play through fifteen levels or 12% of the field, whichever comes first.
The survivors of Day 1b will combine with the survivors of Day 1a for Day 2 on Monday November 25th at noon local time.
