Welcome to PokerNews coverage of the World Series of Poker Circuit Planet Hollywood $2,200 High Roller. This two-day event is slated for a 4 p.m. start today from Planet Hollywood Las Vegas.

This tournament features the biggest buy-in of any event in the WSOPC Planet Hollywood Series. Players will play through 12 40-minute levels on Day 1a, with 15-minute breaks after every three levels.

Play will resume at Level 13 on Day 2, which begins at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Late registration is available up until the beginning of Level 13. Players will be battling for a share of a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool in this event,

Day 2 will continue with the structure of 40-minute levels, and play until a champion is crowned. Level 1 will begin with the blinds at 100/100.

The defending champion in this event is Nirath Rean, who topped a field of 98 entries in November 2018, taking home $58,802 and the WSOP Circuit ring. Tournament crusherJoseph Cheong finished second, for $36,348.

Players will start with 30,000 chips, and this tournament is an unlimited re-entry event.
