Day 1b Chip Lead for Ghabour; Day 1c Goes to Ricci in the WSOP International Circuit Main Event Holland Casino Rotterdam
Day 1b and Day 1c of the WSOP International Circuit Main Event has come to an end on a long day in Holland Casino Rotterdam. By the time the registration period was closed in both flights, there were 365 entries collected today. There were 278 entries on Day 1b and 87 on Day 1c which was the turbo version of the starting flight. Together with the 130 entries on Day 1a, this means that there were 495 entries in total, crushing the €250,000 guaranteed prize pool. The exact prize pool details will be announced on Day 2.
Claiming the Day 1b chip lead is Fadi Ghabour from the United States with 396,500 in chips. Ghabour is originally from Egypt but is currently living in Boston. Ghabour got most of his chips when he doubled through Terry Jordon with kings versus jacks in one of the last hands of the night. Ghabour is followed by Orhan Ates. Ates fired two bullets in the High Roller earlier today but left that field without cashing. Luckily for him, he was more successful in the Main Event as he bagged 327,000 in chips. Pim Gieles closes out the Day 1b podium with 256,500 in chips.

But not everyone managed to make it through Day 1b safely. Most of them jumped into Day 1c to try their luck there.

Day 2 will commence at 1 p.m. local time on Wednesday, November 20 with 41 players from Day 1a, 82 players from Day 1b, and 42 players from Day 1c. These 165 players will continue with Level 13 which features a small blind of 1,000, big blind of 2,000, and big blind ante of 2,000. Level duration will remain at 40 minutes each and a 15-minute break has been scheduled after every three levels.
