Alon Eldar Leads the Day 1b Field in the WSOPC Harveys Lake Tahoe $1,700 Main Event
The second of two Day 1 flights has concluded at the World Series of Poker Circuit Harveys Lake Tahoe $1,700 Main Event. Day 1b saw a total of 257 entries come through the Harveys Casino poker room in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, with a total of 45 survivors making it through to Day 2.
At the end of the night it was Alon Eldar bagging the biggest stack, ending the flight with 374,000. Closely following on the leaderboard were Joe Burke (357,000), William Chao (319,000), Joey Weissman (316,000) and Eric Ethans (306,000).
The 45 players making it through Day 1b will join the 26 survivors of Day 1a, and the combined total of 71 players will come back for Day 2 of the Main Event. The Day 2 restart commences Sunday at noon, as the field continues to play toward the final table and eventual crowning of a Main Event champion.
With 257 entries on Day 1b, the total number of entries for the 2019 WSOPC Harveys Tahoe Main Event hit 424. The total prize pool is $642,360, with $133,285 going to the eventual winner. Of the 71 remaining players, 64 will make in into the money and earn at least a min cash of $2,553.
Other notables making through Day 1b included Lee Markholt (266,000), David Diiorio (254,000), Dann Turner (235,000), and Sam Cosby (233,000).
Notable players not making it through the end of Day 1b included defending champion Scott Sanders, Dan O'Brien, Vanessa Kade, Aram Zobian, JC Tran and Shirin Oskooi.
