Joseph Eliminates Dang

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Jeremy Joseph
Jeremy Joseph

The action folded around to Jeremy Joseph in the small blind who put in a stack of 5,000 chips as he announced all-in. Hieu Dang took a few seconds before calling off his remaining stack of roughly 24,000.

Hieu Dang: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}
Jeremy Joseph: {a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

Joseph was ahead with his ace-high but the flop {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades} gave Dang a flush draw to go along with his live cards. The turn was no help though when the {4-Clubs} landed and the {5-Clubs} on the river meant Dang was eliminated from the tournament.

Mark Toulouse

Brett Apter opened for 2,500 from middle position and Mark Toulouse called sitting directly to his left.

Apter continued for 2,300 after the {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop and Toulouse raised to 7,000. Apter quickly moved all in and was snap-called by Toulouse.

Brett Apter: {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Mark Toulouse: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Toulouse held a made hand but had to dodge some outs as Apter held the flush draw along with an over.

The {a-Diamonds} turn was no help to Apter nor was the {k-Diamonds} river and he sent 24,900 over to Toulouse for the double.
