Shainiuk Picks Up Aces To Get Over Four Million

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Roman Shainiuk opened to 120,000 from the button and was called by Paul Chai, who defended his big blind. The flop came {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and Chai checked. Shainiuk made a continuation-bet of 300,000 and Chai called.

Chai then led out for 600,000 on the turn {10-Clubs} and Shainiuk immediately announced he was all in, receiving a green "all-in" button from the dealer. Chai asked for a count, which totaled to be 2.64 million, a bit more than he had left in his stack.

"I have pocket nines," said Chai, tabling the {9-Spades} as he folded.

Shainiuk showed for the third time today, tabling {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}.

"First time today," he said about having pocket aces as he collected the pot, bringing his stack to over 4 million in chips.
