Another Lead Out for Shainiuk

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Roman Shainiuk opened to 150,000 from the cutoff, Paul Richardson three-bet to 450,000 from the button, and Shainiuk made the cal.

Shainiuk continued using the leading out strategy he's employed several times today at the final table, going all in for his last 900,000. Richardson thought it over for awhile before making the fold. Shainiuk showed the {a-Hearts} as he raked in the chips.

Straight Versus Boat, No Action

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Paul Chai was in the cutoff and opened to 165,000. Arish Nat gave him action as he defended his big blind. The flop came {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and both players checked. Action checked through the turn {9-Clubs} to bring the river {10-Diamonds}, where Nat checked again.

Chai looked as if he were about to reach for chips but instead announced a straight, tabling {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}.

"Full house," responded Nat as he turned over {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, good to earn him the pot along the way.

As time was expiring on the clock in Level 25 and the tournament director was announcing a break, Bobby Pham shoved all in from the hijack. The rest of the table had stood up as action folded to Terence Reardon, who quickly announced a call.

Terence Reardon: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Bobby Pham: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} to give Pham a set on the flop, which proved to be good when the runout was completed. Both stacks were counted, with Pham having 730,000 and Reardon having 635,000. Shainiuk and Nat Go To Battle

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Hand #1:

Roman Shainiuk opened to 125,000 from under the gun and action folded around to Arish Nat, who remarked about Shainiuk picking on him all day as he called.

"You called him blind?" asked Paul Chai from across the table. Nat said it had been numerous times that his big blind had been raised by Shainiuk.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} and both players checked.

"One hundred-fifty," said Nat, cutting out three stacks of T25,000 chips that were each two tall on the turn {5-Hearts}. Shainiuk called.

Both players checked the river {a-Hearts} to take the hand to showdown.

Nat tabled {5-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for two pair, aces and fives. Shainiuk showed {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for aces and jacks and took down the pot.

Hand #2:

On the following hand, action folded around to Nat who was now in the small blind. He raised to 120,000 into Shainiuk's big blind and received a call.

"One hundred-fifty," Nat announced again as the flop came {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Shainiuk sat for about five seconds before folding {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} face up, as if to ask Nat what else he was supposed to do with each decision.
