The PokerNews Live Reporting Team is in Milwaukee to live report action the $1,700 Main Event, but is just one of a dozen gold ring events at the stop. As such, we thought we’d profile some of the preliminary tournaments and those who struck it big.

One tournament that recently wrapped was the $135 buy-in Ladies Event, which attracted 55 runners and offered up a $5,500 prize pool.

That was paid out to the final table of nine players. Among those to cash were Louise Steglin (8th - $186), Robyn Jacobson (5th - $377), and Tracy Boone (4th - $523).

In the end, Robin Glaysher of Fort Worth, Texas defeated Illinois’ Jennifer Zenda in heads-up play to win the title for $1,846 and a gold ring.
